Attorney
Law firm is hiring a plaintiff side personal injury attorney. Handle all facets of high level PI cases through inception to trial. This job is fully on site.
The full job description covers all associated skills, previous experience, and any qualifications that applicants are expected to have.- Case Evaluation: Screening new clients, listening to the facts of their accidents, and evaluating the merit of a claim.
- Investigation & Evidence: Gathering crucial evidence like police reports, surveillance footage, witness statements, and medical records to prove liability.
- Damages Calculation: Analyzing current and future damages, including medical expenses, therapy costs, and lost earning capacity.
- Negotiation: Communicating and negotiating with insurance companies to reach a fair settlement that covers the victim’s losses.
- Litigation: If a settlement cannot be reached, drafting pleadings, taking and defending depositions, and aggressively representing the client in trial.
- Client Advocacy: Counseling clients throughout the legal process and protecting their rights against opposing counsel and insurers.
Education & Qualifications
- Education: A Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Bar Admission: Must be licensed to practice law and in good standing with the state bar association where they operate.
- Experience: Requires a strong grasp of civil procedure, tort law, and medical terminology. Junior roles require 3-5 years of litigation experience, while senior roles often demand extensive trial or case-management experience. xrczosw
- Skills: Strong negotiation skills, deep analytical thinking, empathy for injured clients, and excellent written and verbal communication.
