Forklift Operator & Material Handler

Second Shift | Monday–Friday | Stable Warehouse Environment.

This hands‑on role combines forklift operation with material handling and pallet preparation for international shipments. You will work independently in a clean, well‑organized warehouse where safety, teamwork, and quality are top priorities.

Job Duties

• Operate a forklift to load, unload, and transport materials safely throughout the warehouse.
• Assemble pallet‑sized boxes and liners for international shipping totes.
• Palletize, wrap, and secure products using hand and automated pallet‑wrapping equipment.
• Assist with truck unloading and material placement as needed.
• Inspect boxes, pallets, and packaging for quality, alignment, and leaks before shipment.
• Follow work orders, safety procedures, and proper material and chemical handling guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including basic equipment care and end‑of‑shift cleanup.
• Support general warehouse and crate‑building tasks as needed.

Required Experience

• Forklift operating experience in a warehouse or similar setting.
• Experience with palletizing, box or crate building, and material handling.
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and handle heavy materials and work in non‑climate‑controlled trailers.
• Comfort using hand tools, pallet wrappers, and basic power tools.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Selkirk, NY.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
