Intermediate Architectural Designer

We are located in LIC and seek a friendly, highly motivated, organized, pro-active, creative and self-disciplined Architect with a minimum of 7 years of practical experience. The required qualifications include but are not limited to:

· 7 years minimum of experience in high-end residential design and construction

· Strong Communication skills

· Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or equivalent

· Proficiency in and experience with Revit [priority], AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, Enscape, Adobe Suite including Photoshop, In-design and other computer application literacy

· Proficiency in residential and commercial construction documents

· Familiarity with NYS and NYC Building Codes and Building Practices

· Experience with coordination of consultants including Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Structural engineers as well as lighting designers and other consultants

· Experience with field/construction administration

· Multi-tasking/time management skills: the ability to work on several projects at the same time in either a management or production role

· Oral and written command of the English Language

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Guide and execute projects through all phases of design

· Actively communicate and collaborate with design and technical leadership

· Produce and coordinate high quality drawings in conformance with project time, scope and quality parameters.

· Effectively document designs through Construction Documents, Construction Administration, and final punch list.
