Compensation: $16-18/hour (Paid Internship)
Profeta Painting is seeking a motivated and dependable Commercial Painting Intern to join our team. This internship is designed for individuals interested in learning the painting trade and gaining hands-on experience in commercial and industrial environments.
As an intern, you’ll work alongside experienced professionals, learning surface preparation, coating application, and job site safety while contributing to real projects.
What You’ll Learn & Do:- Assist with surface preparation including sanding, patching, caulking, and priming
- Learn to apply paints and coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
- Gain experience working in commercial settings such as offices, warehouses, and retail spaces
- Understand proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment
- Follow safety procedures and industry best practices
- Support team members in completing projects on time and to quality standards
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Interest in construction, painting, or skilled trades
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to perform physical work, including lifting 50+ lbs
- Comfortable working at heights (ladders and lifts)
- Valid driver’s license and transportation preferred
- Basic experience with hand tools or general labor
- Enrollment in or recent completion of a trade, technical, or vocational program
- Paid, hands-on internship experience
- Flexible scheduling (for students, if applicable)
