Lox Club is a dating company building communities that allow our members to find love organically. We’re on a mission to help those who hate dating apps find each other, become better daters, and laugh about it. Our flagship product is the Lox Club, a membership-based community for Jew-ish singles with ridiculously high standards.

We are growing rapidly and investing heavily in the future by opening new clubs targeting elite singles in niche communities, creating original programming via Lox media, and expanding into physical spaces.

As a Product Designer you’ll be a product leader and the senior-most designer for the Lox Club app by deeply understanding the needs of our users and developing a compelling product vision and strategy with the CEO. You’ll be a key leadership voice and will work in a partnership model between design, product management, and research.

• Design elegant solutions that fundamentally change behavior and solve problems

• Contribute to a dynamic design culture where we support, challenge, and elevate each other’s work and skill.

• Mentor more junior design peers

• Partner with design leadership to refine our vision, principles, and process

• Partner with product leadership to define your group’s strategy

• Partner with UX research to expand our insight and evaluate our concepts

• Partner with PMs to generate high-impact roadmap and viable features

• Partner with engineering to develop robust and efficient solutions, and to bring them seamlessly to life in the real app experience

Requirements:

• 5+ yrs Design experience with exceptional results

• BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience

• Strong UI and interaction skills

• Experience with iOS and Android

• Experience with data, analytics, and task management tools

• A desire to design solutions that fundamentally change behavior and solve problems, as opposed to features that are cool or flashy

• Team player, low ego, positive energy, takes initiative

• Excited about a youthful scrappy startup culture

• Design eye that tends towards minimalism

• Proficient with prototyping

• Ability to independently initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance and speed of execution

• Ability to communicate concisely, organized, and a doer

• Skilled in the creation of delightful, polished, and performant products for customers in every market and on any device
