V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Help Desk Technician for our premier client in New York, New York .

What You’ll Need

Technical Requirements and Certifications »

• Technical certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications).
• ITIL Foundation certification (or working knowledge of ITIL processes).
  
  

Education And Experience »

• 2 years of IT help desk or technical support experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, and Windows environments (macOS/iOS familiarity a plus).
• Experience with ITSM/ticketing systems (Freshservice or comparable platforms).
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VPN, Wi-Fi).
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work in a high-volume support environment.
• Enthusiasm for technology and a willingness to continuously learn.
  
  

Preferred

• Experience with endpoint management tools (Intune, SCCM, or similar).
• Familiarity with collaboration tools (Zoom, Webex, Teams).
• Exposure to security and compliance requirements in financial services.
  
  

What You’ll Do

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for hardware, software, mobile devices, and applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents through our ITSM system (Freshservice experience preferred).
• Configure, deploy, and support laptops, desktops, and mobile devices (Windows, macOS, iOS).
• Identify recurring issues, analyze trends, and recommend solutions.
• Support Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Teams, and other enterprise tools.
• Escalate complex issues to higher-level engineers as needed, following ITIL-based processes.
• Monitor and respond to service requests and help manage our user requests through our ticketing system (Fresh Service).
• Document technical solutions and contribute to the knowledge base.
• Participate in IT projects such as system upgrades, software rollouts, and security initiatives.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Assist in training end users on IT tools and best practices.
• Be flexible with shift coverage, including occasional weekend support.
