Pediatrician
The Community Health Center of Buffalo, Inc. is seeking a Pediatrician to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive community setting. As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), the Pediatrician will play a vital role in offering comprehensive, affordable, and accessible healthcare to all individuals, regardless of their ability to pay. This position presents a unique opportunity to impact the lives of underserved individuals and families in the Western New York community.**Qualifications:**
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in Pediatrics
- Valid New York State medical license
- BLS/CPR certification
- Current DEA registration
- Previous experience or strong interest in serving underserved populations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail**Responsibilities:**
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments for pediatric patients
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans
- Provide immunizations and screenings
- Monitor the growth and development of pediatric patients
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Educate patients and families on preventive healthcare measures
- Maintain thorough and accurate medical records in accordance with FQHC guidelinesThe selected candidate will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, paid time off, CME days with an annual stipend, eligibility for student loan repayment through the National Health Services Corps, paid malpractice insurance, and more. Salary range: $165k - $180k depending on experience.
