Automation Project Manager

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an Automation Project Manager to join one of our largest pharmaceutical clients 5x/week onsite in Rensselaer, NY. This individual will be joining the Automation team within the Engineering and Automation space helping with the management of 58 CAPAs assigned to the team. They will be expected to familiarize themselves with all projects, active or otherwise, work with necessary automation engineers and cross functional teams to prioritize CAPAs by urgency in an effort to create a master schedule and assign roles. This individual will also be responsible for conducting risk and potential gap analysis once the schedule and assignments are completed and utilizing their technical knowledge to pre-identify any possible bottlenecks.

Skills and Requirements

• 4-5 years total of technical automation experience

• 2+ years of technical project managemt expereince dealing with capital projects

• Familiarty with Rockwell, FactoryTalk Batch, and Delta V

• Experience with project managemnt tools (preferrably MS Project)

• Expertise using the Microsoft Suite

• Background in Pharmaceuticals/Life Sciences - Plant PAX
