Facility Controller

Job Description: The Controller is a key member of the accounting staff. In this role you will be responsible for various generalAccounting functions and preparation of consolidated division reports for Corporate. You will provide financialsupport & analysis.As the facility Controller you will be tasked with making sure there are no errors on the companys financial statements. In addition, you will actively participate in the budget and forecasting process, and the management of working capital.Supporting the Business Unit team in generating accurate weekly forecasts, budgets, metrics, KPIs and a focus on cost management will be essential.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the month-end process for financial statements and cash flow for the Business Unit including streamlining the reporting cycle
• Responsibility for Revenue Recognition Procedures, overseeing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable,Payroll; ASC606, General Ledger, Month End Close, Lease Accounting, Financial Statements
• Assist with the implementation of new accounting standards and manage training program for departmental personnel
• Reviews workflow to ensure that all accounting transactions are processed accurately and in compliance with industry standards
• Coordination of the activities of multiple functions involved in the preparation of Business Unit forecasts, budgeting, and reviewing manufacturing performance
• Established budgetary control systems and monitor compliance to budget and monthly forecasts
• Work with Production on KPIs and Engineering on VA/VE to provide monthly reports
• Review excess & obsolete inventory on a quarterly basis communicate to senior management any changes in reserved required
• Preparation of financial statements and generation of summary reports
• Complete balance sheet flux analysis & bring issues to management attention during close
• Handle personally or supervise general ledger reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with all internal controls
• Assist VP of Finance with a variety of tasks as needed
• Reconcile trial balances to corporate office financials

Requirements (preferred and minimum)

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required; Master's Degree andCPA preferred
• 6-8 years relevant accounting experience
• Public Accounting Experience preferred but not required
• Manufacturing Experience preferred; ability to understand manufacturing environment and associated financial processes
• Experience with precision metals a plus or
• Significant knowledge of GAAP and financial accounting standards
• Hyperion Enterprise and Oracle experience a plus
• Understanding of ASC 606 Revenue Recognition
• SOX internal control assessments (Section 404) experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
• Strong leadership, supervisory and management abilities
• Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills
• Proficiency with computer skills and demonstrates extensive knowledge of financial software programs
• Comfortability with communicating and interacting with all levels of leadership and management; ability to confidently coordinate between sites, Business Units and executives

Salaried

Salary Minimum: $180,000

Salary Maximum: $200,000
