Inspection Technician

Title: Incoming Inspection Technician
Location: Albany, NY 12204
Pay Rate: $26.00/hour
Duration: 6 months to start

You will be responsible for performing inspections on purchased materials and sub-assemblies used in medical devices. This includes quality checks during part release, qualification of components, and nonconformance investigations-all in alignment with Clients' Quality Management System and regulatory standards.

• 2+ years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment (regulated industries preferred)

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience

• Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and GD&T

• Experience with metrology, calibration, and inspection techniques

• Understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 17025, GMP, and GDP standards

• Familiarity with Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) is a plus

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Inspect and measure parts, tooling, and assemblies

• Record and document findings per GDP standards

• Execute tasks in SAP for inventory control

• Review vendor certificates and data for compliance

• Initiate nonconformance reports and assist in investigations

• Support audits and continuous improvement activities
