Duties Description Requirements for Continued Employment: Possession of a permanent/professional or provisional/ initial New York State certificate in Students with Disabilities/Special Education is necessary for continued employment. Loss of certification will result in termination of employment. Minimum Qualifications Kingsboro Psychiatric Center is recruiting Teachers to provide educational instruction to individuals with mental illness during the summer session; July 1, 2026 - August 23, 2026. This is a temporary position.Minimum Qualifications: Teacher 2 - Current New York State Education Department initial certification in classroom teaching in the appropriate specialty.Teacher 3 - Current New York State Education Department permanent/professional certification in classroom teaching in the appropriate specialty.Teacher 4 - Current New York State Education Department permanent/professional certification in classroom teaching in the appropriate specialty and 2 years of post-certification (initial or permanent/professional) teaching experience in that same specialty.
