The Role

The Recruiter will support client hiring managers with filling their vacancies to target start dates, ensuring all quality thresholds and SLAs/KPIs are met. They will manage the end-to-end recruitment process working in conjunction with colleagues in teams such as Administration, utilizing relevant recruitment technology applications. They will deliver excellent recruitment services to the client in line with agreed service levels, acting as the custodian of candidate quality and the hiring manager experience.

You will be a true subject matter expert in recruitment and sourcing and will confidently partner with senior stakeholders to understand even the most complex hiring needs, developing sourcing strategies which focus on finding and engaging passive talent across specialist disciplines. You can expect to work with client stakeholders e.g., Hiring Managers, Recruiters (AMS or Client), and Candidates.

Salary range: $62,000 - 83,000 USD

Act as a Trusted Adviser

• Build strong partnerships with Recruiters and Hiring Managers to deliver an excellent candidate and hiring manager experience. Lead recruiting discussions and be recognised as a thought leader in sourcing strategy.

• Partner with sourcing and talent intelligence experts to develop effective strategies, using market insights to influence hiring outcomes from the start of the process.

• Deliver high-quality candidate shortlists with accurate, complete information and clear recommendations to support informed hiring decisions.

• Share candidate feedback, challenges, and successes with Recruiters and Hiring Managers, recommending adjustments to recruitment strategies (e.g., alternative locations, talent pools, job description updates).

Attract, Source & Engage High-Calibre Talent

• Demonstrate innovative thinking and ongoing professional development to help clients hire top talent, including passive candidates.

• Create and post compelling, accurate job adverts that strengthen the client brand and attract strong applicants.

• Develop sourcing strategies using appropriate channels (e.g., LinkedIn, social media), adopting a proactive search approach for niche and specialist roles.

• Use data to measure sourcing effectiveness, continuously refine strategies, and share successes and insights.

• Engage candidates professionally across multiple channels (email, LinkedIn, phone), regularly headhunting specialist talent.

• Gain insight into candidate skills, motivations, and career aspirations to inform selection decisions.

• Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process and build long-term talent pools.

• Present candidates accurately and compellingly to clients, advocating for diverse and bias-free selection processes.

• Track progress, performance, and data in relevant systems.

Skills & Requirements

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following competencies:

• Proven experience recruiting within the Insurance sector , demonstrating strong understanding of industry-specific talent markets, roles, and hiring challenges.
• Extensive experience managing high-volume recruitment , effectively handling multiple requisitions simultaneously while maintaining quality and speed of delivery.
• Proven expertise of end-to-end recruitment experience, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management, and stakeholder consultation.
• Strong ability to assess and evaluate recruitment expertise , demonstrating deep knowledge of sourcing strategies, talent mapping, competency-based interviewing, and selection methodologies.
• Highly developed relationship management skills , building trusted partnerships with hiring managers, candidates, and senior stakeholders.
• Ability to work autonomously , managing priorities independently while delivering against agreed timelines and objectives.
• Strong stakeholder engagement capability , confidently advising, influencing, and managing expectations at multiple levels within the organisation.
• Resilience and adaptability in fast-paced, high-demand recruitment environments.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills to balance competing demands in high-volume settings.
• High attention to quality, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all recruitment processes.
• Accountability and ownership, taking full responsibility for delivery outcomes and service excellence.
