Authorized Officer, Quant Modelling Specialist

UBS Business Solutions US LLC is hiring a(n) Authorized Officer, Quant Modelling Specialist (ref. Code 002470) in New York, NY. Duties: Develop complex quantitative models for forecasting revenue, expense and balance sheets. Partner with different lines of business globally within the bank to solve complex business problems using analytical modelling approaches and provide meaningful insights to the business heads. Participate in data processing and data management, which includes data manipulation and data mining using various statistical methods including Outlier Detection, Variable Clustering, Variable Reduction, and Variable Selection. Analyze and transform financial data, conduct statistical and econometric analysis to determine the important factors considered for model development. Write and coordinate model documentation covering end-to-end model process for auditing purposes and future work. Leverage knowledge in predictive modeling, statistical analysis, Python Programming language, and other analytical software packages and tools to design, enhance and implement Pre-Provision Net Revenue (PPNR) Models. Can work hybrid (In-office/remote). REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Financial Engineering, Finance, or related field of study.
