Student Accounting Advisor
:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage individual caseload communication with students to resolve balances.
- Process, record and reconcile third party payments
- Process student refunds on a weekly basis to comply with federal guidelines.
- Conduct monthly account reconciliation of student accounts refunds.
- Counsel student regarding tuition balances, federal, state and institutional financial aid.
- Resolve issues/questions regarding current, past due and delinquent student accounts.
- Receives and processes tuition payments.
- Assist student with payment plan set-up.
- Performs daily account cash reconciliation.
- Processes online payment application.
- Assist students and parents with inquiries regarding 1098-T tax reports.
- Send out invoices and receipts to students.
- Resolve general issues and problems.
- Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Accounting knowledge a+
- Colleague experience preferred
- Three years of relevant experience required
- Knowledge of Financial Aid
- Microsoft Office
- Customer Service
- Strong technical skills
- Ability to work independently, handle multiple task, prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to interact with students
- Bachelor's degree required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
