Job Title: Radiology Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Diagnostic Imaging Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 4x10.0 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: - Two years of Registered Nursing experience in Interventional Radiology - Telemetry experience required License: - New York RN license Certifications: - BLS (American Heart Association) - ACLS (American Heart Association) Must-Have: - Good communication skills - Ability to critically think - Team-oriented, enthusiastic, flexible, and organized Description: This is a fast-paced pre/post interventional radiology department in a level 1 trauma center. We cater to inpatient and outpatient populations across the lifespan. Nurses work within a multidisciplinary team and are responsible for pre-procedural preparation of patients and post-procedural recovery and overnight observation care. Experience with GI post-procedural care is preferred but not required. This is an exciting opportunity for nurses who want to work in the high-energy environment of Diagnostic Imaging. We specialize in providing care for patients undergoing CT scans, MRIs, nuclear medicine scans, X-rays, and ultrasound. RN is responsible for pre/post and 23-hour care for IR patients. Care for patients boarding overnight pre or post-procedure is also required. BLS and ACLS certifications are required. About Cynet Health
