THE OPPORTUNITY

Our client is a Series A, venture-backed AI company (~18 people) building AI for marketing leaders — agentic systems that handle the operationally intensive work of data management, analytics, campaign generation, and measurement, powered by a proprietary consumer graph covering 270M+ US consumers across 2,000+ attributes. This is one of the first dedicated AE roles: a high-autonomy, high-impact seat where you own the inbound pipeline and close deals directly alongside the founders.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Own the full sales cycle from inbound demo request through closed deal. Run discovery to understand prospects' data stacks and success metrics. Demo the API, enrichment workflows, and identity graph to technical and business buyers. Collaborate cross-functionally on custom scoping, match-rate tests, and POCs. Feed market intelligence back to product and data.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

First 90 days: ramp on a technical product, convert inbound pipeline, and close early deals. First year: consistently hit quota and help shape the repeatable GTM motion.

MUST-HAVES

2+ years SaaS sales (data, API, or developer-focused preferred); track record closing $10K–$100K ACVs with strong quota attainment; ability to sell technical products to engineers/data scientists and business stakeholders (CMOs, RevOps, growth heads); based in or willing to relocate to NYC.

NICE-TO-HAVES

Early-stage GTM experience; martech, adtech, or data-platform background.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

$90K–$120K base (USD), $180K–$240K OTE on a 50/50 split with uncapped commission, competitive equity.

LOCATION & WORK MODEL

On-site 5 days/week in New York City (Williamsburg, Brooklyn).
