Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult and geriatric patients, including those with cardiac disease, stroke, infection, PE, and pain
- Monitor telemetry, recognize and manage dysrhythmias, and participate in rapid response and code events
- Administer medications, manage IV therapy and phlebotomy, maintain peripheral lines, and support oxygen therapy
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (PT, Respiratory, Radiology, Pharmacy, Social Services) and participate in discharge planning and patient education
- Document in Epic; maintain accurate charting and ensure isolation precautions and proper use of PPE
- Float to MS, ED, and ICU (stable patients) as needed to support unit coverage

Requirements
- Active NY RN license in hand (per compliance notes)
- BLS certification; NIHSS certification
- Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience in Medical-Surgical or Telemetry; charge experience preferred
- Proficiency in phlebotomy and IV placement; telemetry monitoring and EKG interpretation; non-invasive airway management
- Epic experience is required for submission
- Ability to float to MS, ED, ICU (stable patients) as needed; locals within 75 miles are not accepted
