Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Night Custodian/Cleaner. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our school facilities during evening hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting classrooms, offices, hallways, and other areas as assigned.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and floors.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Ensure that all cleaning equipment and supplies are properly maintained and stored.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down for special events or activities as needed.
• Notify management of any maintenance issues or safety hazards observed during the shift.
• Follow established safety procedures and protocols at all times.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in custodial or janitorial work preferred.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and reaching.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and occasional weekends.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
