Senior MEP Project Engineer (Licensed)

Our multi-disciplined MEP client in the local area is actively seeking to add a Senior Project Engineer to their organization. This is a leadership-level role responsible for managing the technical design and production of complex MEP projects from concept through construction closeout.

Job involves:

• Lead engineering design efforts & support multi-discipline project teams
• Oversee development of construction documents, technical specifications, and design calculations
• Coordinate closely with architecture and engineering disciplines
• Ensure code compliance and quality control across all project phases
• Manage construction administration including submittals, RFIs, site visits, and contractor coordination
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for clients and field teams
• Mentor junior engineers and support team development
• Assist with project planning including staffing, budgeting, and scheduling

Requirements:

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
• Ten or more (10) + years of engineering experience
• BS or MS degreed Mechanical or Electrical Engineer
• Revit & AutoCAD experience
• Strong knowledge of engineering codes, standards, and design documentation
• Experience with construction administration and field coordination
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
• Experience managing multiple complex projects & deadlines, working directly with clients and contractors

Our client offers competitive salary ~$130,000 – $165,000 based on experience, 401(k) with profit sharing, comprehensive benefits, PTO & Paid holidays, education reimbursement, just to name a few!
