We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist, Product Analytics to help shape product strategy through rigorous analysis, experimentation, and insight generation. In this role, you will partner closely with Product Managers to drive data-informed decisions that directly impact how users regain financial stability. You will translate complex data into clear recommendations, design experiments, and measure product performance across key success metrics. This position is ideal for someone who combines strong statistical depth with business intuition and communication skills. You will operate at the intersection of product, engineering, and operations in a highly analytical, mission-driven fintech environment.

Key Responsibilities

Act as a strategic analytics partner to Product Managers

Design and evaluate experiments (A/B testing and beyond)

Analyze trends across core product and business metrics

Generate actionable insights to improve user outcomes and product performance

Build data visualizations and dashboards for cross-functional stakeholders

Become a subject matter expert in January’s data ecosystem

Support Operations and Client Success teams with data-driven insights

Contribute to building a data-first culture across the organization

Requirements

4+ years of experience in product analytics or data science

Strong experience with Python or R for statistical analysis

Solid to advanced understanding of statistics and experimentation methodologies

Experience analyzing product performance metrics and user behavior

Strong ability to derive insights from complex datasets

Nice to Have

Strong data storytelling and presentation skills

Strategic mindset with business impact awareness

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Experience in fintech, financial services, or regulated environments
