Credentialing Specialist – New York, NY

Duration: 9 Weeks

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (35 hours/week)

Location: On-site (New York, NY 10004)

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a Credentialing Specialist to support end-to-end provider credentialing operations for a healthcare environment. This role is responsible for ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant processing of provider credentials in alignment with organizational policies, hospital bylaws, and applicable regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of provider credentialing, including initial appointments, reappointments, credential audits, and clinical privileging
• Support credentialing processes for Medical Staff, Allied Health Professionals, and other providers
• Utilize MDStaff credentialing software to process, track, and monitor credentialing activities and background checks
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of provider data within credentialing systems
• Maintain compliance with accrediting bodies, regulatory agencies, and internal policies
• Interpret credentialing requirements in accordance with applicable laws, statutes, and healthcare regulations
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely completion of credentialing workflows

Required Skills

• Strong experience with credentialing processes and audits
• Proficiency in MDStaff or similar credentialing systems preferred
• High attention to detail and data accuracy
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulatory and accreditation standards
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
