Vice President, Corporate Communications - Global Credit & Insurance

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced communications professional to join our team as a Vice President, Corporate Communications. This individual will play a central role in shaping and executing communications strategy for the firm's global credit & insurance platform, while also supporting broader corporate communications initiatives across the U.S. market. The role requires a strategic thinker with deep industry knowledge, strong media relationships, and the ability to operate effectively across a wide range of communications priorities in a global environment.

In-Office Requirement: 4 days a week

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of integrated communications strategies for the firm's global credit business, including liquid credit, private credit, real assets credit, asset-backed finance, and insurance.
  • Partner closely with investment teams and senior leadership across regions to position the platform with key stakeholders, including media, investors, and industry influencers.
  • Manage proactive and reactive media relations, including message development, press engagement, and issues management
  • Work closely with communications colleagues globally to ensure alignment, consistency, and coordination across markets
  • Serve as a key communications partner on a range of corporate communications initiatives in the U.S., stepping in to support high-priority projects and emerging needs as they arise
  • Collaborate across business units and functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with the firm's broader brand and reputation strategy
  • Support executive communications, including thought leadership, speaking engagements, and key announcements
  • Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to inform positioning and messaging strategies
  • Help manage crisis and reputational risk situations as needed

Requirements:

Education & Certificates

  • Bachelor's degree, required

Professional Experience

  • 10+ years of overall relevant experience, required
  • Financial services and/or private market experience, preferred
  • Demonstrated expertise in private credit or broader credit markets strongly preferred
  • Established relationships with top-tier financial media and proven ability to secure impactful coverage
  • Proven experience working closely with senior executives and contributing to communications efforts tied to high-profile, high-stakes situations
  • Ability to operate effectively within a global team environment and across multiple geographies
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across both business-line and corporate communications
  • Experience developing and implementing communications programs and proven ability to execute

Benefits/Compensation

The compensation range for this role is specific to New York City and takes into account a wide range of factors including but not limited to the skill sets required/preferred; prior experience and training; licenses and/or certifications.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $200,000 to $220,000.

In addition to the base salary, the hired professional will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package spanning retirement benefits, health insurance, life insurance and disability, paid time off, paid holidays, family planning benefits and various wellness programs. Additionally, the hired professional may also be eligible to participate in an annual discretionary incentive program, the award of which will be dependent on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
