What does an I&C Tech do?
Under direct supervision, the tasks include:

»Testing, adjusting, repairing, and maintaining the radio, telemetric, fiber optic, microwave, SCADA, managery and electronic control equipment (except where an F.C.C. Operator’s license is required) connected therewith in any of the Company’s substations, Gas gate and distribution stations, offices, properties and rights-of-way and Production facilities

»Assist a I&C Technician of a higher grade in the performance of such employee’s tasks and to execute other related work as assigned



What does it take be an I&C Tech?

Required:

»Associates of Applied Science Degree (AAS Technical/Science) or higher in Electrical Engineering Technologies. In lieu of a degree, 30 credits of significant advanced education in the field of Electrical Engineering Technologies from an accredited College or University or accredited certificate program will be considered. significant course work includes AC Circuit Theory, DC Circuit Theory, Electronics, Electric Power Systems, Automation, Electromechanical Devices, Digital Electronics, Technical Drawing or Telecommunications. In lieu of an AAS Degree or applicable course work, a HS Diploma/GED and 3.5 years of significant work practice, or technical Military training, in a related field will be considered

»Must demonstrate good mechanical aptitude and capability to absorb technical and electronic theory

»Evidence of physical fitness shall be required and at the Company’s option must be demonstrated by medical examination by a doctor selected by the Company

»Valid driver’s license
