Sun River Health is a Federally Qualified, Non-Profit Health Center serving communities in Suffolk, Rockland, Orange, Duchess, Ulster, Sullivan, Columbia and Westchester County. We are pursuing a full-time Associate Vice President of the Planetree Institute. This is a primarily remote position with travel as needed within the area.
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Associate Vice President of the Planetree Institute provides direction and management to all Planetree programs and staff across the Planetree Institute's various dimensions. The position leads the Planetree Institute team, the Planetree Steering Committee, and supports the oversight of each of the Planetree sub-committees as appropriate. The position guides the development, preparation, facilitation, and evaluation of all Planetree Institute programs in alignment with Sun River Health's KPI and the Planetree Institute's own annual deliverables. In addition, this job offer also supervises the Director of AmeriCorps programs, providing sufficient oversight to both the programs and the AmeriCorps members as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Provides additional oversight of all Sun River Health AmeriCorps Programs.
supervises the Employee Recognition program under the Planetree Institute by coordinating and leading all aspects of recognition programs such as quarterly recognition award ceremonies, position-specific recognition ceremonies, and more.
Leads the Planetree Steering Committee and drives the work of each Planetree sub-committee, including the Care Team and the implementation of the LGBTQ+ committee.
Serves as a leader and representative of the Planetree Institute and develops consistent and accurate reports and documentation for external partners and internal executive leadership abilities about Planetree Institute programs and progress toward Institute and Organizational deliverables.
Alongside the Chief Learning agent and VP of the Planetree Institute, supports the development, implementation, and evaluation of an organizational staff training plan.
supervises the development, preparation, facilitation, and evaluation of Planetree Institute curricula and programs, ranging from standard programs like the Planetree Retreats and Language of Caring to new annual programs that support staff development such as Emerging Leaders programs, managery trainings, and more.
Ensures Sun River Health's continuing compliance with Planetree International's standards of Excellence in Person-Centered Care and leads all certification and re-certification efforts alongside the VP and Director of the Planetree Institute.
EDUCATION/practice:
