People and Culture Specialist
- Answer employee questions and/or forward to the appropriate area.
- Serve as an additional point of contact and assist with benefits administration.
- Maintain HRIS through updates and entering data.
- Coordinate Wellness events and larger group/vendor onsite meetings.
- Compile and prepare reports and spreadsheets.
- Assist in payroll administration including answering payroll questions, facilitating resolutions to any payroll errors. Recruitment/New Hire Process
- Post, update and remove approved job postings in Applicant Tracking System (ATS) as well as in other online recruitment sites.
- Using Active's ATS and/or LinkedIn, review incoming and existing resumes/cover letters for open or pending positions and forward qualified resumes to assigned recruiter; perform database searches for job candidates as applicable.
- Document/track applicant cycle via recruitment notes/documentation in the applicable systems.
- Create/update staffing reports to applicable P&C systems and/or Excel.
- Schedule and arrange screening interviews with candidates and internal hiring teams.
- Use thorough understanding of ATS to assist candidates through the full life cycle of the recruitment process.
- Ensure background and reference checks are completed for final candidates or new hires.
- Prepare new employee onboarding packages and assist in conducting new hire orientation.
- Coordinate equipment and office supplies with Management teams for New Hires/Offboarding.
- Assist in ensuring current P&C Sharepoint files and databases are up to date.
- Assist in approving and maintaining employee benefits life events, employment status for ACA, and similar records.
- Assist in performing file audits to ensure that all required employee documentation is collected and maintained.
- Bachelor's Degree preferably with a focus in Human Resources or, equivalent experience/training, required.
- Minimum requirement of up to 2-3 years related experience in an HR area.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word (required), Excel (required) and PowerPoint (a plus).
- Proficiency in P&C and proprietary applications such as ADP, Sharepoint, Applicant Tracking Systems (ICIMS preferred), LinkedIn Recruiter, Power BI a plus.
