New York, NY 10007 * Telecommuting allowed within the U.S.WAGE RANGE: $174,000 - $242,000 annuallyJOB DESCRIPTION Lead multiple state and federal data reporting tasks every reporting cycle including HMDA (Home Mortgage Disclosure Act), MCRs (Mortgage Call Report), NCCOB, and assist regulatory reporting team with a quality assurance process for all the reports provided to state and federal regulators and identify trends in data reporting to preemptively improve company's internal processes. Clearly and effectively translate and communicate compliance data reporting needs to Business Intelligence (BI) team and work with them to build robust data pipelines and spearhead the development of multi-state reporting solutions. Manage multiple regulatory examination engagement and work cross-functionally to prepare responses to regulatory examination and investigation related requests, in addition to assisting with ad hoc regulatory strategy special projects. Provide excellent service and support to internal consumers, such as the Operations, Product, and Data Engineering, in preparing SME-specific responses to regulatory requests, both in-person (verbally) and in writing. Support the Chief Compliance Officer in communicating mortgage origination compliance requirements and offering origination compliance guidance to other teams including Partnerships, Product, Marketing & Mortgage Operations. Will supervise a team of Operations Analysts.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related.SKILLS REQUIREMENTS Experience must include 1 year with the following: 1) Advanced Data Analysis and Programming Expertise using Python, SQL, or Looker; 2) Project Management in Regulated and Data-Driven Environments; 3) Regulatory Compliance Framework Development with Technical Integration; 4) Regulatory Examination Management and Audit Leadership; and 5) Ensuring Compliance Readiness Using Data-Driven Insight.Background checks may be required.APPLICANT INSTRUCTIONS: To apply, email resume to [email protected].
