Position: Interventional Radiology Technologist – Diagnostic

Location: Bronx, NY (10461)

Type: Contract | Local or Travel

Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday – Friday

Duration: 13-week assignment

Pay Rate (Local): $55/hour ($2,062.50/week)

Job Summary:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Interventional Radiology Technologist – Diagnostic for an exciting job in Bronx, NY.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Minimum 1 year of experience with angiographic equipment, balloon angioplasty, and stenting.

• Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology.

• Valid NYS Radiologic Technologist license.

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).

• Advanced ARRT certification in one of the following:

  • ARRT (CI) – Cardiac Interventional Radiology

  • ARRT (CV) – Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology

  • ARRT (VI) – Vascular Interventional Radiology

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and position patients for interventional procedures.

• Operate fluoroscopic and diagnostic imaging equipment safely and accurately.

• Assist radiologists during procedures by providing instruments and monitoring imaging.

• Ensure proper sterilization and maintenance of equipment and supplies.

• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes.

• Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, patient history, and imaging results.

• Follow radiation safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and self.

• Communicate effectively with patients and provide support throughout procedures.

• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.

• Troubleshoot technical issues with imaging equipment as needed.
