Job Title: RN – Cardiac Cath Lab

Location: New York, NY10016

Duration: Contract - 14 Weeks

Role Summary

A healthcare organization is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab) setting. The ideal candidate will support interventional cardiac procedures, provide critical patient care, and ensure adherence to clinical and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Administer medications, including conscious sedation, as required.
• Perform IV insertions and phlebotomy.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of critical care experience.
• Proficiency in IV insertion and phlebotomy.
• Experience with conscious sedation.

Education

• Required: Associate’s Degree (ASN or ADN) from an accredited nursing program.
• Preferred: Not specified

Certifications & Licensure

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License – State of New York.
• License verification through NYS Department of Education (NYSED).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association (AHA).
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association (AHA).

Language Requirement

• English (Read, Write, Speak)

• Minimum Degree Required: Associate’s Degree (Community College or equivalent).
