A Server Assistant at Coco’s is an experienced and highly collaborative individual that supports the daily experience to guests within a refined private members club environment. This role requires an individual who leads with professionalism, consistency, creativity, and a commitment to excellence.

A Server Assistant works closely with floor staff and Front of House Management to deliver an elevated dining experience that reflects the discretion, sophistication, and hospitality standards of the company. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced luxury environments, understands the importance of culture and accountability, and takes pride in being part of a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities

• Clear and reset tables promptly and quietly between guests
• Bus dishes, glassware, and silverware to the dish area
• Set tables with proper flatware, glassware, and linens according to house standards
• Refill water glasses and bread, and assist with beverage service as needed
• Run food and drinks from the kitchen/bar to tables to support servers during busy periods
• Keep service stations, sidebars, and the dining room stocked, clean, and organized
• Assist servers with guest requests when needed (extra napkins, condiments, etc.)
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining floor throughout each shift
• Communicate with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth table turnover
• Assist with opening and closing side work (folding linens, polishing silverware, restocking supplies)
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of experience in fine dining, luxury hospitality, or private members club environments
• Proven ability to collaborate with teams while maintaining high performance standards
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Deep understanding of kitchen systems, staffing, and operational structure
• NYC DOH Food Protection Certificate preferred
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
