Vice President, Product

Telecommuting from any location available Job Duties: * Lead development and the delivery of software product portfolio for the companys customers, including cross-team technical design discussions on application architecture, information structure, UI components, UX, back-end and third-party integration, and testing. * Assure implementations are completed according to security and data protection best practices and adhering to the platforms guidelines. * Oversee the lifecycle of products from ideation to launch and monitor product performance and customer engagement. * Managing team of software engineers, including conducting performance reviews, encouraging professional growth, removing roadblocks, delegating project tasks and onboarding team members. * Advising senior business leadership and product managers on the relative complexity of proposed solutions, including advantages, disadvantages, and trade-offs. * Designing and ensuring adherence to coding standards and other development policies in the development of the companys products. * Performing end-to-end application highly complex or urgent application development, as needed. * Collaborating with the VP of Engineering on forming a product roadmap and vision, including delivering feedback from the Product Team and driving a positive engineering culture. Minimum Requirements: * Bachelors degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. * Three years of experience leading a team of software development engineers. Experience must include: * Three years of experience with Technical Strategy & Execution, including defining a companys engineering roadmap in alignment with business and product goals and ensuring high performance and on-time execution of same. * Three years of experience with Cross-Functional Collaboration, including partnering with various constituencies in companies to align technical decisions with business priorities and translating complex technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders to inform strategic decision making. * Three years of experience driving Process & Quality, including implementing and refining engineering processes. * Three years of experience conducting customer discovery, competitive analysis, and defining differentiated product positions in the market. * One year of experience working in a startup or high-growth company. * One year of experience utilizing objective-c, swift, java, react, react native, javascript, sql, snowsql, aws sql, html, and css programming languages.
