We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader for our Analytics and Insights team within the US and Canada Marsh and Mercer Sales Operations, Enablement and Insights organization. As the leader of this function, you will play a critical role in driving data-driven decision-making and strategic planning across multiple business units for the US and Canada region. Your expertise in reporting, analytics, and customer insights will enable our organization to gain a competitive edge and achieve our strategic goals. You will lead a team of analysts and data specialists delivering digital analytics solutions and actionable insights to executive leadership and business segment/zone leaders across Marsh and Mercer in the US and Canada region.
We will count on you to:
Lead and grow the Insights & Analytics function, managing senior analysts and data specialists and fostering a collaborative, innovation-driven team culture.
Build and deliver a strategic reporting & analytics roadmap aligned to Marsh and Mercer business goals across the US and Canada.
Partner with global commercial and cross-functional teams to define KPIs, translate requirements, and design intuitive Power BI (or similar) reports and dashboards.
Turn large, complex data sets into timely management reports, performance metrics, and actionable customer insights that influence senior-leader decision making.
Drive data governance, quality controls, change management, and adoption of data-driven decision-making across Sales Operations and local market teams.
What you need to have:
7–10+ years of progressive analytics/reporting experience, including proven leadership of analyst teams.
Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Power BI (or Tableau/Qlik), including report development, data modeling, and dashboard design.
Proficiency in SQL and experience extracting insights from large, complex datasets.
Solid understanding of data analysis techniques, statistics, and data visualization best practices.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience conveying complex insights to non-technical senior stakeholders.
What makes you stand out:
Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
Experience partnering with global Insights & Analytics, Sales Technology / Platform teams, and enterprise data teams to optimize data infrastructure and integration.
Demonstrated success driving change management and building analytics adoption across commercial organizations.
Familiarity with data governance frameworks, data quality tooling, and sales/CRM data models.
Prior experience supporting multi-business-unit or cross-border analytics initiatives (US & Canada focus).

Marsh is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.
The applicable base salary range for this role is $129,800 to $276,600.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
