Overview
Mastercard Dynamic Yield is looking for a Director of Technical Experience to define and execute strategy to provide technical consulting and leadership for our customers’ technical teams. You will work closely with development leaders at client organizations to build strong relationships, offer thought leadership, and ensure successful integration of our personalization software. Your expertise in personalization technologies and industry best practices will help clients optimize their use of our platform and drive measurable business outcomes. Role: Advise clients on industry best practices for architecture and development with personalization, and the building of successful development teams. Become a subject matter expert in personalization, drive thought leadership in the space and stay at the forefront of personalization trends and relevant technologies. Mentor internal and external technical teams to deliver high quality, scalable solutions. Deliver insights and consulting on industry best practices. This includes developing marketing content to drive engagement from the intended customer personas such as whitepapers, videos or network posts and delivering workshops, webinars and presentations. Partner with customer success, product and sales teams to map tailored solutions and ideate improvements to influence product development. Build and maintain strong relationships with technical stakeholders (e.g., CTOs and other development leaders) to understand their challenges and provide strategic guidance. All About You: Extensive experience in solutions engineering, technical consulting, product management or related roles. Proven history to define strategy and skillfully execute complex initiatives that require collaboration across functional, geographical and cultural lines. Strong technical background in personalization software, AI/ML, data integration, and full-stack development. Proven ability to build relationships with senior technical stakeholders (CTOs, development leads, architects). Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience working directly with Product and R&D teams to rapidly pivot development direction based on feedback from clients and prospects. Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, resolve conflicts, and drive decision-making in cross-functional settings. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more. Mastercard benefits for interns generally include: 56 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time; jury duty leave; and on-site fitness facilities in some locations.
