Business/ Financial Analyst

Salary: $60,961.00- $86,667.00

SUMMARY

The Treasury Business Analyst supports variety of Treasury Operations, including, but not limited to Secured Logistics, EFT Reconciliation and Third-Party Cash Services. Develops deep understanding of Treasury Operations and effectively manages routine, periodic, and ad hoc activities. Delivers dynamic data analysis and reporting that lead to action. Demonstrates initiative to identify process improvement opportunities. Participates in the design and implementation of Treasury processes, policies, and training initiatives. Acts as a liaison between internal and external contacts to ensure compliance with company policies, contract terms, and applicable laws and regulations. Adheres to all policies and procedures, as well as regulatory and legal guidelines. Ensures excellent customer service is delivered at all times. Maintains customer confidentiality. Displays leadership, composure under pressure, and ability to maintain positive relations and effectively communicate with all contacts, customers, and co-workers. Continually promotes and provides coaching and counseling on Treasury policies and best practices to all Northeast Shared Services teammates as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee store level cash management, including support and functionality of cash recyclers.
• Prepare reporting, reconciliations, flux analysis, and budgeting/forecasting for all applicable Treasury Operations.
• Identify areas of opportunity through data analysis, present findings and execute initiatives.
• Provide store support for EFT issues and assists in recoupment of funds.
• Support all projects related to Treasury Operations, including stores opening and closing, remodels, relocations, equipment upgrades and changes, among other things.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Satisfactory performance reviews
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and treasury management systems.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task
• Ability to interact with all levels of management in the organization
• Strong computer knowledge, including proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, COGNOS, POS monitoring software
• Excellent customer service skills

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field preferred.
• Familiarity with banking operations, cash forecasting, and financial instruments a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in treasury, finance, or cash management, preferably in retail or grocery industries.
• 2+ years of analysis in an Accounting/Finance/IT or other analytical area preferred.
• Prior experience in store operations, including front end, scanning, receiving, or store management preferred.
