Position: Ultrasound Technologist

Location: New York , NY 10029

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Duration: 13 Weeks

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist for a contract assignment in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will perform ultrasound examinations, assist radiologists with imaging procedures, and ensure high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Ultrasound Technologist experience
• ARDMS Registration required
• ARRT Certification required
• BLS Certification required
• Associate Degree required
• Must have exact VU Ultrasound System experience
• Must have experience performing prostate sonography
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations following departmental protocols
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
• Operate and adjust ultrasound equipment safely and effectively
• Capture and transfer images through PACS systems
• Assist radiologists during imaging procedures
• Maintain and clean ultrasound equipment
• Ensure adequate inventory and supplies are available
• Schedule examinations and coordinate patient transportation if needed
• Assist in training and mentoring new ultrasound staff
