Payroll Clerk (Temp)

Description

Key Responsibilities: - Reviewing vacation reports, specifically focusing on a unique rollover policy and ensuring correct accruals for each person. - Identifying and pointing out any discrepancies or unusual items in vacation data. - Assisting with payroll processing during payroll weeks, with training provided on ADP Workforce Now. - The manager will provide one assignment at a time and train the temp on other duties.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- Excel Proficiency: Level 7-8 (on a scale of 1-10). This includes familiarity with formulas, password protection, and functions like SUM and COUNT, but does not require VLOOKUP or pivot tables. - 3 years payroll experience (preferred experience with ADP Workforce Now) - Attention to Detail: Highly important for reviewing reports and identifying errors. - Organizational Skills: Ability to keep track of tasks and make notes on findings.

This is a Contract position based out of New York, NY.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00/hr.
