Counter / Pastry Prep Team Member (Full-Time)

Peaceful Provisions is hiring a full-time Counter / Pastry Prep Team Member to support both front-of-house guest service and back-of-house bakery production.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced bakery environment, takes pride in hospitality and organization, and is excited to help create high-quality doughnuts and pastries from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide friendly, attentive customer service
• Take and pack orders accurately
• Maintain knowledge of products, ingredients, and allergens
• Stock and organize bakery and retail inventory using FIFO practices
• Prepare coffee, tea, and beverage stations
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the bakery
• Assist with opening/closing duties, prep lists, and dishwashing
• Support production of doughnuts, pastries, cakes, cookies, fillings, glazes, and baked goods
• Assist with decorating, finishing, packaging, and displaying products
• Monitor product quality and communicate inventory needs
• Work collaboratively with the bakery and retail team to maintain smooth daily operations

Qualifications

• 1+ year customer service experience in food service
• 1+ year commercial bakery experience
• Comfortable working early mornings (some shifts begin at 4am)
• Weekend availability (Sunday required)
• Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and cleanliness
• Positive attitude with ability to multitask under pressure
• Comfortable taking direction and working as part of a team
• Basic math and communication skills
• Experience with Square is a plus
• Have a valid driver's license (strongly preferred)
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Schedule

• 30–34 hours/week
• 6–8 hour shifts, 4 days/week
• Thursday–Sunday availability required
• Flexible scheduling preferred

Pay: $17.50 - $18.00 per hour
