CKitchen, a leading supporter of the food service industry for the last two decades, is currently seeking a 100% Remote Software Quality Assurance Team Lead to join our dynamic team.

As a QA Team Lead, your responsibilities will include:

Acting as the team representative in the manager's absence

Being the SME on Enterprise-level practices and processes

Conducting peer reviews for all team members

Assisting in the planning of Automation Sprints

Leading individual and group training efforts

Working on special projects for management

Having an overall vision of architecture

Objectively providing input into a peer's performance

Being able to digest information and make concise decisions

Championing QA Process at an Enterprise level

Actively participating in employee reviews, interviews, and team evaluations

Occasionally stepping in to manage, coordinate, and take ownership of any difficult/critically urgent/high-profile projects with little to no guidance

We are looking for a driven and motivated candidate who has:

Minimum 10 years of experience in a QA role with steady progressive growth in their career

Proficiency in designing, developing, and maintaining test cases and test suites

Programming experience with Java/Groovy

Data-driven automation experience, preferably in Selenium using an automation framework

Experience managing a team of 2-5 people is a plus

Strong SQL and database knowledge

Experience working in TFS/VSTS/ADO

Ability to perform peer reviews to ensure test cases are up to current Enterprise standards

Flexibility to multitask and shift focus as needed

Ability to train/mentor junior team members

Ability to assess project risk and present documentation to the project/Enterprise Leadership

Ability to expand on usable Business Requirements (Acceptance Criteria)

Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment

Ability to identify areas of process improvement and communicate them to management

Ability to form working relationships within the project teams

A good understanding of multiple software testing methodologies

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work with a majority remote team

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Excellent problem-solving skills and a positive can-do attitude
