Customer Communications & Support Specialist - Chatham, NY

We have an immediate opening for a Customer Communications Support Specialist located at the Chatham office. Our Customer Communications/Support Representatives understand the importance of teamwork and possess a “customer first” attitude. The right candidate also has excellent communication skills, the ability to multi-task and problem-solve, and can successfully work independently.

Qualifications:

· Computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel

· Experience in electronic customer communications via email and online help is a plus.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

· Dispatch support for Service Technicians and Fuel Drivers

· Responding promptly to customer inquiries.

· Communicating with customers through various channels.

· Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints.

· Administrative tasks as assigned.

· Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.

· Maintain knowledge of our products & services so that you can successfully assist customers.

· Processing orders, forms, applications, and requests.

· Keeping records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.

· Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary.

· Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support.

· Miscellaneous tasks to support the company’s daily operations.

· Holiday coverage (rotation shared by all representatives)'

Schedule:

· Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm

Supplemental pay types:

· Bonus pay

Work Location:

· Chatham, NY - This shift is Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm. This is an in office position. It is not a remote position. Reliable transportation is required.

· Customer Service Experience 2 years minimum
