Quantitative Researcher
ExodusPoint Capital Management, LP has an opening for a Quantitative Researcher in New York, NY. This is a hybrid position; must work from the New York, NY facility four days per week; can work remotely within the U.S. one day per week. Combine sound financial insights and statistical techniques to explore, analyze, and harness predictive information from a large variety of data sets. Research and develop short-term signals which will be deployed in systematic trading strategies. Utilize knowledge in large and diverse data sets to develop and extend the teams proprietary research platform. Work on a computational, quantitative, data-rich platform, collaborating with the Portfolio Manager and trading group with respect to the whole investment process. Develop successful signals, working on non-traditional data sets and/or index rebalancing. Up to 2 international trips per year (to offices in Singapore and London). Must possess at least a masters degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field and at least 3 years of experience as a Quantitative Researcher or related role. Must also possess the following: at least 3 years of experience working with large and diverse data sets; at least 3 years of experience working with machine learning algorithms; at least 3 years of experience working in linux environment; at least 3 years of experience with python; at least 1 year of experience developing successful signals; and at least 1 year experience with R. This is a full-time position, approximately 40 hours per week. The salary range for this position is $152,339 to $170,000 per year.
