TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Pediatrics RN in Bronx, New York, 10461!
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Pediatrics Duration: 14 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 11.5 hours Experience: Minimum two years of Med/Surg Rehab experience in a large acute care hospital setting, with the most recent experience within the past year. License: Client RN License & Primary Source Verification Certifications: AHA BLS Must-Have: - MED/SURG REHAB - PHYSICAL ASSESSMENT - MEDICATION ADMINISTRATION - WOUND CARE - INFECTION CONTROL Description: Duties may include but are not limited to: Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans in consultation with healthcare professionals. Evaluating medical information and providing direct and individualized bedside nursing care to pre-and post-surgery patients. Preparing, administering, and recording prescribed medications. Changing dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs. Adjusting specialized medical equipment as needed and interpreting and recording measurements. Monitoring patients' vitals and reporting adverse reactions to medications in a timely manner. Collaborating on discharge planning with the healthcare team. Answering questions and educating patients and their families on surgical procedures and post-surgery care. Maintaining and updating patient files, medical charts, and health records. Adhering to best nursing practices, standards, and protocols. Required skills and experience include: Physical assessment. Medication administration. Wound care and infection control. IV therapy. Post-operative care. Patient education. Telemetry monitoring. Preferred skills and experience include: EPIC EMR experience. About Cynet Health
