Culinary Development Chef
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Collaborate with other chefs and culinary teams to develop and refine dishes
- Stay ahead of culinary trends and integrate contemporary, international, and dietary-specific trends into offering
- Perform regular tastings and product testing to assess flavor, texture, and presentation
- Monitor food preparation, cost, quality, quantity and portion control
- Support kitchen staff with training and implementation of new recipes and cooking techniques
- Ensure hygiene standards are kept to the highest standards at all times
- Perform additional duties as assigned by direct reports.
REQUIREMENTS :
- 5 years culinary experience required, preferably as a Brand Chef or R&D Chef
- Fundamental understanding of kitchen operations and flow of service, breakdown of position and roles, and standard tools and materials
- Strong knives skills required
- Self starter, must be able to work under little direction
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to work with diverse teams.
- Experience working in a fast paced environment

Compensation: $120,000 - $140,000 annual
