Senior Consultant (EXL54)

Company: EXLService.com, LLC Location: New York, NY & Position may work at various and unanticipated worksites throughout the United States.Position Title: Senior Consultant (EXL54) Job Description: Responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of data reporting and analytics solutions for our clients within the utilities sector. Work closely with clients through the entire systems lifecycle, from requirements gathering to solution implementation. Lead the development of data-driven decisions to create products and programs for utility companies. Design and implement advanced reporting and visualization solutions using tools like Tableau or Power BI to deliver real-time, actionable insights. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into effective solutions using reporting tools. Oversee data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes using SQL and python to ensure accurate and insightful data is readily available to business area customers. Implement best practices and frameworks for data collection, analysis, and model building, working with compliance teams. Develop multiple models for predictive analytics to empower and meet organizational goals in the utilities sector. Design data models within Databricks and maintain data quality, integrity, accuracy, and consistency. Establish data governance, policies, and procedures for data security and accuracy. Create appealing dashboards and data visualizations to effectively communicate complex data records or information. Use the comprehensive understanding of the utility industry, including electric, gas, and water utilities in the suggesting industry leading solutions to improve clients business. Position may work at various and unanticipated worksites throughout the United States. Telecommuting is permitted. Job Requirements: Requires Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Economics, or a related field plus Four (4) years of Experience in Analytics, data architecture, data migration, solution/enterprise architecture, and systems integration within the utilities sector. Must have at least one (1) year of experience with the following : Using data analytics tools and programming languages such as PowerBi, Tableau, Spotfire, SQL, and Python, Using cloud platforms : AWS, GCP, MS Fabric and SAP ERP system, Using Databricks, Understanding data governance principles and practices, Understanding retail utility sector. Employer will also accept a Masters degree plus Three (3) years of Experience in Analytics, data architecture, data migration, solution/enterprise architecture, and systems integration within the utilities sector in lieu of a Bachelors degree plus Four (4) years of Experience in Analytics, data architecture, data migration, solution/enterprise architecture, and systems integration within the utilities sector. 40 hours/week, 9:00am-5:00pm, Salary range: $140,000 to $145,000 per year.
