A growing global professional services organization is seeking an experienced Manager, Strategic Financial Analysis (Practice Performance) to lead a team responsible for delivering financial insight and performance analysis to senior leadership.

This position sits at the intersection of finance, operations, and strategy. The individual will oversee a group of analysts responsible for evaluating business performance, building financial models, and translating complex data into actionable insights that support leadership decision making.

The role works closely with senior stakeholders across the organization and plays an important part in improving visibility into financial performance, resource utilization, and long term planning initiatives.

Manager, Strategic Financial Analysis (Practice Performance) Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of financial analysts responsible for delivering reporting, forecasting, and business performance insights across multiple operating groups.
• Provide financial guidance to senior leadership through detailed analysis of revenue performance, operational metrics, and cost structures.
• Develop and enhance financial models used for forecasting, strategic planning, and performance evaluation.
• Drive the preparation of recurring reporting packages that help leadership understand performance trends and key financial drivers.
• Partner with business leaders to analyze revenue streams, evaluate profitability drivers, and identify opportunities for improved performance.
• Support annual planning and forecasting cycles by building projections and scenario models that inform leadership decision making.
• Oversee analytical workstreams tied to strategic initiatives, operational improvements, and financial reporting enhancements.
• Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for non finance stakeholders.
• Collaborate with leadership teams to evaluate staffing, utilization, and operational efficiency metrics.
• Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and improve the overall quality of financial analytics across the organization.
• Contribute to cross functional initiatives that strengthen financial visibility and support long term growth objectives.

Manager, Strategic Financial Analysis (Practice Performance) Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, strategic finance, or business analytics within a Law Firm.
• Prior experience managing or mentoring analysts or finance professionals.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities with the ability to work with large data sets.
• Comfort working directly with Firm Partners and cross functional stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree required. Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field preferred.
