SUNY Orange's Continuing and Professional Education unit (CAPE) is seeking part-time Spanish High School Equivalency Teachers (GED) for the Adult GED Program starting in the Fall semester (late August).
We have openings in our morning and evening sections on our Middletown and Newburgh campuses.
The Spanish GED teacher will teach four subjects: ELA, Science, Math and Social Studies in Spanish , to prepare students for the GED test.
General Requirements:
Required : Bachelor's Degree and at least three years of practice teaching secondary or post-secondary subjects to at-risk youth and adults. Fluency in Spanish
Preferred: Academic teaching certification with prior secondary or GED teaching practice and excellent teaching expertise. expertise of technology needed for both in-person and virtual instruction.

income: Hourly range of $31-$35 per hour located on academic and work practice.
