Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Commercial Services for a wide range of project types is seeking an experienced professional to assist with preventative maintenance and repairs of diesel equipment in the field. As our heavy equipment mechanic, you will travel to various job sites to make electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic repairs on equipment such as excavators, loaders, dozers, dump trucks, forklifts, and more. Individuals must be able to use electronic devices such as laptops and be able to run diagnostic tests. JOB DESCRIPTION / RESPONSBILTIES: Perform electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical repairs as well as preventative maintenace. Troublesoot issues with diesel engines. Determine parts and tools necessary for repairs. Complete paperwork as needed. Maintain a clean and safe work area. HEAVY EQUIPMENT MECHANIC REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED certificate Post-secondary certificate, degree, or training as a mechanic (a plus). Minimum of five years of experience with diesel / heavy equipment repair. Welding experience (a plus). Manual dexterity. Valid Drivers License and a clean driving record.
