Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to perform civil design tasks for roadway geometrics, grading, and drainage systems. You will prepare plans, drawings, and technical documents using AutoCAD and collaborate with project managers and senior engineers on design development. You will assist with site design, utility layouts, and stormwater management plans, coordinate with clients, municipalities, and permitting agencies as needed, and support both private development and municipal infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform civil design tasks for roadway geometrics, grading, and drainage systems.
• Prepare plans, drawings, and technical documents using AutoCAD.
• Collaborate with project managers and senior engineers on design development.
• Assist with site design, utility layouts, and stormwater management plans.
• Coordinate with clients, municipalities, and permitting agencies as needed.
• Support both private development and municipal infrastructure projects.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Understanding of roadway design, grading, and drainage fundamentals.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Civil Design.
• EIT certification.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of Civil 3D is advantageous but not required, as it can be taught.

Work Environment

The role is a 100% design position located in Industry City, Brooklyn. The work hours are from 9 AM to 5 PM. The office environment offers growth opportunities and the ability to learn additional certifications. The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
