Overview:

Location: Hybrid – New York, New York

Salary: $125,000 - $150,000


We are seeking a Cyber Security Disaster Recovery (DR) Architect who will support our client to design resilient recovery solutions for critical services across multiple environments, including on-premises and cloud platforms. This role will leverage existing backup and cloud-native technologies to create secure, reliable recovery strategies that support business continuity and operational readiness. The ideal candidate is a strategic architect with experience designing and validating disaster recovery solutions for complex infrastructure environments.



Duties:

• Design DR solutions for all locations and environments for critical applications and services.
• Data recovery solution that leverages existing tools (combination of hardware and software) for each environment and location.
• Application and workflow recovery solution that leverages existing tools for each environment and location
• Create DR solution security pattern for each location / environment.
• Activation of DR solution
• Test and Validate DR solution(s)

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Associates degree or combination of experience and education
• 8+ years of IT Infrastructure experience
• 7+ years of Cybersecurity architecture integration experience
• 7+ years of Disaster Recovery architecture experience and designing DR for 24/7 mission-critical systems
• 7+ years of experience supporting data center migrations
