Piping Design Specialist

Our Client is seeking a Piping Design Specialist in New York, NY. Join Our Client, a 45,000-strong team solving complex global challenges! Bring your Associate's, 12+ years industrial piping experience, 3+ years leadership, and 3D modeling mastery to deliver innovative, sustainable outcomes.

responsibilities:
- Act as the primary Piping Discipline Lead or Senior QA-QC authority, taking full ownership of piping design integrity from initial layout through final 3D model review.
- Provide expert technical leadership, ensuring all designs are constructible and strictly comply with applicable industry codes (such as ASME B31.3), material specifications, and project standards.
- Perform and guide comprehensive 3D model-based reviews using CADWorx and Revit to verify long-term operability, safe maintenance access, and welding feasibility.
- Collaborate seamlessly with cross-discipline and remote global workshare teams, clarifying project scope and ensuring deliverables consistently meet the schedule.
- Apply advanced engineering judgment to proactively prevent downstream issues, while communicating clear technical direction and mentoring junior design staff.
