Tax Analyst, Information Reporting & Withholding (AP Shared Services)

Description

What this person will own (Day 1 impact): - End-to-end support of annual 1099, 1042-S, and California Form 590 reporting - Collection, validation, and maintenance of W-9 and W-8 vendor documentation - Monitoring vendor payments to determine reportability and withholding requirements - Preparation support and reconciliation of tax filings to IRS and state agencies - B-Notice handling, error resolution, and IRS correspondence support - Maintenance of compliance calendars and statutory deadlines - Partnership with Accounts Payable, Vendor Master Data, and Tax teams to ensure data integrity - Support for internal and external audits, tax inquiries, and special reporting projects - Contribution to process improvements and automation initiatives within Shared Services Ideal background (strongly preferred): - Experience in a high-volume AP Shared Services or centralized tax environment - Prior work supporting media, entertainment, or large corporate vendor populations - Exposure to vendor master data governance - Comfort partnering cross-functionally with AP, Procurement, Legal, and Tax - Interest in process improvement and automation, not just compliance What will NOT be a fit (screen-out guidance): - Pure public accounting tax prep with no information reporting exposure - Corporate tax provision / ASC 740-only profiles - Candidates without hands-on 1099 / 1042 exposure - Early-career AP clerks without tax compliance experience

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
