$20 to $24/hr. and a Free Family YMCA Membership
Under the supervision of the Executive Director, the Office Manager supervises and administers the financial services, communications, and administrative resources to support operations for the office. This position is responsible for accurate record keeping and filing personnel records, human resource functions, and clerical operations. The position is responsible for demonstrating YMCA leadership competencies to ensure the mission, purpose, image, and core values of the YMCA of Greater Rochester is conveyed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Responsible for administrative functions of the office.
· Oversee branch personnel services which include Paylocity, new hires, terminations and all branch record keeping procedures as outlined by the YMCA of Greater Rochester.
· Oversee clerical responsibilities associated with human resources, accounts payable, cash reports, insurance, purchasing, document retention, group contracts, program data and billing per YMCA of Greater Rochester standards.
· Act as lead user/contact with Corporate MIS, finance, Human Resource & Payroll Departments to ensure staff access to appropriate training as new systems are implemented.
· Provide support to the Executive Director in the United Way Campaign and Annual Support Campaign.
· Responsible for internal communications, bulletin board content, and the creation of supporting and communications.
· Coordinate the workflow of the office to assure maximum amount of administrative support for camp and retreat center operations.
· Interact with staff, members, guests and general public in a professional and courteous manner.
· Contribute to retention by maintaining a high standard of office cleanliness.
· Attend all required meetings, trainings, and conferences.
· All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
· At least 21 years of age and possess a high school diploma.
· Two years of administrative and supervisory experience required. Two years prior YMCA experience is preferred.
· Must possess excellent administrative, office, and organizational skills; including excellent oral and written communication skills both independently and with a team.
· Must have knowledge of human resources management practices and procedures and office management practices.
· Must be proficient in computer skills and knowledge of various office software packages.
· A customer service focus and the ability to manage multiple tasks are a must.
· CPR/AED and First Aid Certifications are required or the ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
· Must be able to bend and stoop frequently.
· Must be able to lift up to fifteen pounds.
Salary Description
$20 to $24 per hour
